David Frye
David has served as Lead Pastor at Calvary since 2006. He is a product of the ministry of Calvary. Having grown up here under the leadership of his father, Lacy Frye, he joined the ministry team in 1997 as student pastor. David graduated from Trinity Baptist College in ’97 and received his masters from Trinity in 2014. He has served as an assistant pastor and then became co-pastor for two years before his father retired in 2006. He and his wife, Tana, were married in 2001 and have 4 children: Savannah, Micah, Sarah and Malachi. David is passionate about preaching the Word and helping people discover a deeper relationship with Christ. He enjoys watching Tarheel basketball, running, and spending time with his family. David loves dogs; cats…not so much!
