Calvary Raleigh Kids

Birth - Pre K

King’s Town is our weekly nursery environment created especially for your infants through preschool-aged children.

Calvary’s nursery is decorated as a town……King’s Town to be exact! Each room is neat, orderly, and age appropriate. Your child will be loved and played with in an environment that spurs their imagination and teaches them about God.

It is our hope that your child will learn:
God LOVES me.
God MADE me.
Jesus wants to be my FRIEND forever.

King’s Town is available:

In Kid’s City, we believe the Bible should never be boring, music can be fun and worshipful, and good leaders always care.  Our goal is for children to see how God’s word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last.  Come join us on our journey through God’s word!

Kid’s City is available:
9:30 am  – Bible Study

5:30 pm – Awana (details below)

AWANA exists to reach kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him. This club is open to the community.

Calvary Raleigh’s AWANA Club meets Sundays from 5:30-7:00 pm.

The age groups are broken up as follows:

Cubbies: 3-4 year-olds (potty-trained)

Sparks: K5-2nd grade

T&T: 3rd-5th grade

The clubs are divided by age groups and each take part in three “times” each night: Large Group Time, Handbook Time, and Game Time.

During Large Group Time, clubbers learn about the Bible through devotionals, missionary stories, and object lessons. This time is engaging and impactive and an appropriate length for each age group.

Handbook Time is a time for clubbers to practice and recite Scripture verses memorized during the previous week, planting the seeds of Scripture in children’s minds and hearts. As an added incentive, clubbers receive awards for reaching milestones in their handbooks during the year.

Game Time engages clubbers in enjoyable AWANA games and contributes to the overall excitement of the night. Game leaders encourage clubbers to have a spirit of teamwork and have fun! Our volunteers work hard to be earnestly involved in the lives of these young children during both Bible times and fun times.
